We received a package from LA some days ago.
It contained one of the prettiest wedding announcements I had ever seen. It had an ornate, textured gold design on the front - tied together by a golden string.
Our friends - Joy and K, are going to have their church wedding in Manila on November. They wrote to say that they would love to have S as one of their flower girls!

They had charted a plane to fly all their guests for a 3-day celebration in Boracay right after the ceremony. It was really thoughtful of them to include a couple of DVD's about the Philippines and Boracay (courtesy of the Phil. Dept. of Tourism) among the travel guides, Metro Manila map and hotel information they sent.
It would have been fab if P and I could re-visit the island where we had our own church wedding almost 6 years ago.
Unfortunately, we don't have enough vacation days left for this year to make it. *Sigh.
