Steppin' Out: STUDIO 4, New Jersey
We headed out to New Jersey yesterday evening to spend Easter Sunday with my relatives. After a late dinner at Houlihans, P, my cousin JD and myself decided to take the party somewhere else.
We drove around aimlessly for a short while before randomly choosing to check out Studio 4 at Fort Lee. Clubbing in New Jersey?!! As they say, there's always a first time to everything... I was slightly turned off by the thin plastic icicles hanging by the clubs' entrance but once I got past that, the place really wasn't bad at all......apparently, JD thought the dancers weren't too bad either!
Here's P having his brief moment on the spotlight up on a ledge.
They played mostly classic house circa late 90's - early 2000 (brought back the good times), and a few reggaeton and hip hop thrown in between. We initially intended to stay for just an hour but the vibe was surprisingly fun and laid back - we ended up opening a tab at the bar and partied till the lights came on.
