A Trip To Chinatown
I was running low on seafood, so it was time to replenish my supply at Chinatown. Weekday mornings was the best time to go there to avoid the crowd. Got off the train at Canal Street around 11 AM and the streets was already teeming with people, mostly group tours/tourists milling around the stalls.
Walked around a little bit, taking in the sights and colorful window displays. At 56 degrees, it was an unusually balmy day at this time of the year and the vendors/merchants were taking advantage of this by displaying their wares, little trinkets and souvenirs outside of their store.
Right along Canal Street was a red kiosk that serves as a Tourist Information Booth.
