Beach Bums
We took it easy yesterday. We just basically laid down on the beach the whole day, waiting for our nasty hangover to subside. I needed my Energy Drink fix but instead of Red Bull, here - they have Blue Ox . Hmmm. Tell me - what is the connection between bovines and energy? I took a little cash with me and it was gone by the afternoon. The beach was virtually a souvenier shopping mecca.
There was the Mexican poncho/blanket vendor, the "silver" chain vendor, the Havana cigar vendor, and the shell/stones necklace vendor. In the Philippines, they sell fruits at the beach. Here, its nuts.
We got a few necklaces for ourselves and for our friends.
S spent the time making sandcastles and looking for little crabs by the beach, while P and I worked on our tan.

She also found handfuls of seashells - one of which made the perfect belly-button ring.
