The Dolphin Encounter

Here's S. posing by the dock, with the Dolphin Discovery boat at the background. We boarded at 9:00 AM and was soon enjoying the Cancun Bay hotel beach views. Were back at Isla Mujeres, on a different part of the island. It's another full-day affair: Swimming with the dolphins in the morning, all-you-can-eat buffet lunch, all-day open bar, access to the infinity pool and use of all facilities (lounges/umbrellas) in the small beach area.
P. and S. got close and personal with two dolphins. They each received a kiss and had a chance to do a short wiggly, salsa dance with the younger one named "Frida".
The dolphins weren't the only animals who entertained us. Some parrots provided comic relief during lunchtime, as they performed tricks on the "The Wacky Show".
We took it fairly easy today - still worked on getting a nice tan, and just basically got comfortably slushed by the beach bar. We left the island at 4:15 pm and are now getting ready for dinner. My cousin JD did make it. He flew in around noontime and will be staying with us for 2 nights/3 days. He was nice enough to offer to "babysit" tonight so P and I could get a chance to hit the bars and party afterwards. Finally, we get to have some time for ourselves!
I will be looking back at this particular pic 12 years from now: S. had gotten a head start on her Spring Break: Hanging at a beach bar in Mexico, drinking (virgin) pinacoladas at 5 years old and socializing with an 11 year old boy. (Mental Note to self: Be her chaperone when she's 17)!
