Times Square

We walked along Time's Square for a bit. It was a very cold and blustery day so the streets weren't too congested with people.

Passed by Nederlander Theatre where RENT is playing. Saw this show once with a good friend many years ago, and is highly recommended. Better than the movie, I'd say. My friend watched it 8 more times since then! *groan*. Talk about a die-hard RENT fan. Former American Idol contestant Frenchie Davis is still part of the current ensemble.

SEASONS OF LOVE
COMPANY:
525,600 minutes, 525,000 moments so dear.
525,600 minutes - how do you measure, measure a year?
In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee.
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.
In 525,600 minutes - how do you measure a year in the life?
How about love? How about love? How about love?
Measure in love. Seasons of love.
SOLOIST:
1525,600 minutes! 525,000 journeys to plan.
525,600 minutes - how can you measure the life of a woman or man?

In truths that she learned, or in times that he cried.
In bridges he burned, or the way that she died.
COMPANY:
It’s time now to sing out, tho the story never ends
let's celebrate remember a year in the life of friends.

S. going gaga over the Hello Kitty Store

Here's P. and S. standing in front of the huge Mc Donalds - the only one that features sit-down waiter service and live piano music during peak hours. I can't imagine them making much in tips here, though. 25 cents for each Happy Meal? Just a thought...

'Dropped by Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum where P. and S. had a ball posing with the Yankees' Derek Jeter and The Matrix's Samuel L. Jackson (wearing his trademark Kangol hat).
WHAT? It's past one o' clock already?? It's chow time, baby!
